Dallas based artist, Julia Briggs, has been honing her skills with painting for over 20 years. Originally an Illustrator and textile designer, Julia blended her design skills with painting. Julia's evolution into painting allowed her to introduce her love of textile, design and portraits into her current work. Her whimsical use of color, imigination and story telling has allowed Julia's work to become very popular and sell out quickly. 
Julia studied at Parson School of Design, in New York City. After college she set up a studio in Brooklyn and started to sell her paintings to private collectors. She has worked on projects in France and England. Her paintings are collected world wide. She has had her work featured in galleries, Bergdorf Goodman and at high end celebrity charity events.

Portraits

I love doing portraits of you or your loved ones. I also will paint your lovely pets. It is a very simple process. You send me a few photos and that usually is enough for me to go on. We will talk throughout the process to make sure I am getting all the unique details of your loved ones. 

Art that tells a story

I also create paintings that tell a story. An example would be a paitning of a couple that got engaged in Central Park. I would recreate the scene in a painting. Your imigination is your only limit here.  Whatever imgae you want to put into art is possible, real or imagined.
